The GOAT Granola
- 2 Cups Organic Rolled Oats
- 1 Cup Whole Raw Almonds
- 1/2 Cup Sunflower Seeds
- 1/4 Cup Chia Seeds
- 1/4 Cup Flaxseeds
- 1/2 Tsp Cinnamon
- 1/2 Tsp Sea Salt
- 1/3 Cup Almond Butter
- 1/3 Cup Coconut Oil
- 3 Tbsp Manuka or Other Honey
- 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
- 100g Dark Chocolate (85%)
Ok, so there’s no Maker in this recipe, but it’s damn good with Maker on it. If you ask us, granola doesn’t get much better than this. Oaty, nutty, protein-packed goodness with the added benefits of Manuka honey.
- Mix dry ingredients (oats, almonds, sunflower seeds, chia seeds, flaxseeds, cinnamon, and sea salt).
- Gently heat coconut oil and combine it with almond butter, honey, and vanilla extract. Add this mixture to the dry ingredients and stir to combine.
- Line a sheet pan with parchment paper and press the mixture down onto the pan, flattening it into a slab about 1/2 - 2/3 inch thick.
- Bake at 325°F for 20-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let the granola cool on the baking sheet.
- Once cool, break it up and serve with Maker milk or yogurt, or just munch on it dry.
Can’t get enough chocolate? Try it with a drizzle of your favorite dark chocolate for an extra dose of polyphenols! It’s ridiculously good!
In a double boiler, melt 100g of dark chocolate (85% cacao) and drizzle it over the cooled granola. Once the chocolate has hardened, break it up and serve.
Makes about 8 servings.
