The GOAT Granola

  • 2 Cups Organic Rolled Oats
  • 1 Cup Whole Raw Almonds
  • 1/2 Cup Sunflower Seeds
  • 1/4 Cup Chia Seeds
  • 1/4 Cup Flaxseeds
  • 1/2 Tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 Tsp Sea Salt
  • 1/3 Cup Almond Butter
  • 1/3 Cup Coconut Oil
  • 3 Tbsp Manuka or Other Honey
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 100g Dark Chocolate (85%)

Ok, so there’s no Maker in this recipe, but it’s damn good with Maker on it. If you ask us, granola doesn’t get much better than this. Oaty, nutty, protein-packed goodness with the added benefits of Manuka honey.

  1. Mix dry ingredients (oats, almonds, sunflower seeds, chia seeds, flaxseeds, cinnamon, and sea salt).
  2. Gently heat coconut oil and combine it with almond butter, honey, and vanilla extract. Add this mixture to the dry ingredients and stir to combine.
  3. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper and press the mixture down onto the pan, flattening it into a slab about 1/2 - 2/3 inch thick.
  4. Bake at 325°F for 20-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
  5. Let the granola cool on the baking sheet.
  6. Once cool, break it up and serve with Maker milk or yogurt, or just munch on it dry.

Can’t get enough chocolate? Try it with a drizzle of your favorite dark chocolate for an extra dose of polyphenols! It’s ridiculously good!

In a double boiler, melt 100g of dark chocolate (85% cacao) and drizzle it over the cooled granola. Once the chocolate has hardened, break it up and serve.

Makes about 8 servings.
